Comme toujours chez Furutech, il n’y a nulle place pour le hasard dans cette fabrication rigoureuse. L’Evolution Power II embarque pour chaque polarité (comme pour la masse) 7 groupes de 35 conducteurs en cuivre OFC de 0,18 mm, tous traités Alpha ! L’isolation de chaque polarité est assurée par une pellicule de polyéthylène, et le blindage par 9 groupes de 24 conducteurs en cuivre pur de 0,12 mm. La gaine externe en PVC est recouverte d’une tresse en nylon qui renforce l’amortissement mécanique. Enfin, les prises IEC et Shuko sont des modèles plaqués or de la série FI-E11. Ils embarquent des conducteurs en bronze phosphoré traité Alpha.

records? What you say… yeah sure (heck even my 21 year old son prefers vinyl over digital which is why
he is now buying records when he can—he owns a turntable!). But have you tried any record clamps
lately? Say what? Well clamping a record to the platter can yield great benefits, and how it is done will

Furutech has come on strong the past few years with multiple innovations most of which were relatively low cost high
value offerings, but always high tech. Their previous phono cable was under $500 and did a very good job with high-end
cartridges. Now Furutech has taken off the gloves and committed their huge resources to a cutting edge cable offering
with all the technological expertise at their command. The Silver Arrow Phono Cable, yes its expensive and yes it
delivers the musical goods and more.

If you’re a regular reader of this site, you’re presumably among the converted: a true-blue audiophile who has no
question that there are profound qualitative differences to be heard between different amplifiers, preamplifiers, and CD

Glücklicherweise haben Bedini Clarifier und Furutech RD-1 und -2 in audiophilen Kreisen für eine gewisse Akzeptanz von Geräten zur Entmagnetisierung gesorgt. Andernfalls hätte ich es mir bestimmt zweimal überlegt, Ihnen dieses UFO vorzustellen.

Begin met een leek over de zin of onzin van kabels en je hebt er een hele kluif aan om overeind te blijven in de discussie die er op volgt. Laatst had ik ‘t nog over het nut van netsnoeren, naar aanleiding van de test die u nu aan het lezen bent. Ditmaal niet met een leek maar met mijn aanstaande zwager. Die is iets hoogs bij Nuon, in de techniek, met hogere cijfers voor natuur- en scheikunde, tijdens een voor de rest vreedzaam verlopen verjaardag.

You couldn’t pay me enough to conduct a shoot-out of 12 DIN-to-RCA phono cables. I did it anyway. Why? Because the cables were there, as was the SME 20/12 turntable, returned from its recent photo session for the cov- er of the May Stereophile. The SME’s ex- posed DIN jack made switching among the candidates relatively painless.
