Cable companies do not come much more hi-tech than Furutech as this small selection of its interconnect, speaker and mains cables serves to illustrate. Developed in Japan, all Furutech’s power conditioning, cable and connector accessories are subject to its proprietary ‘Alpha Process’ [see boxout] which is evidently key to maximising their performance.

FURUTECH ACCESSOIRES

Being a music lover and affording the gear to be able to really try to reproduce what
musicians were trying to do are t two phrases that are not usually synonymous with
each other. Also as a reviewer who has a real world budget for this hobby puts me in
a difficult position! While reviewing every expensive esoteric cable known to man
(which I’ve done on occasion) can be a lot of fun, it always comes down to what I can
really afford to put into my system.

Also, I made one other change when I removed the Ayre gear from my system: I switched from the Ayre–supplied
and –spec’d Cardas cables to Furutech Evolutions. Incidentally, it was right around this same time that I read Jay
Rein’s essay on system synergy.
I had already been using a Furutech e-TP609 power distributor and Evolution power cord. These accessories have
been quiet constants.

“…The quality of silence between and around the notes — the level of black if you will — is indicative of that. It’s not
an artificial deep-space vacuum silence but something that makes it easy to hear the otherwise subliminal stuff. This
ease of far smaller attention demands contributes to the flavor of natura
