Arguably one of the least addressed aspects of the audio and video arena is the quality of the AC power. And yet, like room acoustics, the impact of poor-quality AC on component and system performance can be significant. I say can be, because many component manufacturers put a lot of effort into the design of their power supplies, which includes the ability of those power supplies to cope with and get rid of noise and interference.
