Furutech to nazwa, która w kręgach przyłączy znana jest od lat. Jej wtyki i gniazda sieciowe, w tym te montowane w obudowie, stosowane są w urządzeniach i kablach, przy których budżet nie gra głównej roli. Jak twierdzi pan Frank Yoo, drugi po Bogu w tej japońskiej firmie, za jej sukces odpowiedzialne są dwa procesy, zamknięte pod jedną nazwą Alpha: kriogeniczne schładzanie wszystkich metalowych elementów kabli i wtyczek (proszę sobie wyobrazić rozmach tego przedsięwzięcia) oraz późniejsza ich demagnetyzacja.
