Think of the AG-12 as one of the best tonearm cables within a reasonable budget, and the Silver Arrows are the way to go for on a top-line turntable/tonearm combination. On recent cartridge reviews, the Silver Arrows always extracts the most information from the cartridge.

Last year, we gave Furutech an Exceptional Value Award for their AG-12 phono cable. It remains one of my personal favor- ites and the reference cable on my three tables that allow an aftermarket tonearm cable. It is very neutral, easy to use and, best of all, rea- sonably priced.

One of the most overlooked segments of the analog world is the tonearm cable. Many turntables come with a halfway decent cable. Some, such as my Rega P9, have a permanently attached cable that can't be swapped for something else. But if your tonearm has a standard DIN plug or a pair of RCA jacks, here's an upgrade you won't want to miss.
